I'm guessing it doesn't have enough memory... it comes with only 512... every thing google shows about this machine seems to be connected with memory upgrading

eMachines eMachines T3516A RAM Memory Upgrades, The Right Memory For Your eMachines Computer

I think that's an older system that came out with windows 98 on it, it may not have enough get up and go.

My Emachine was upgraded to 1 gig ram, it is a celeron 3.2 ghz w/ 120 gig hard drive and on-board ati 128 meg video card.
It came w/windows xp preinstalled. Its says vista ready on the front of the machine, but installing vista gives the same results (blue screen) I am using a factory (store bought) version of win 7 upgrade version 3 user licence.

Does you video card accept 1924 X 768 resolution?

My E-Machine is a little over 2 years old an runs 1GB of memory, AMD 2,4GHz processor, Nvidia 8500GT, and a X-Fi Extreme 7,1 channel sound card,

and Windows 7 files on this machine. I'm also dial-booting with my old Vista Oremium

    How old is your computer.

Mine was loaded with Vista Premium

Oh Hey, tblout, thanks fro the link to E-Machines memory, I was just looking for it nm the past day or so.

Welcome, run it by froogle.com or google /shopping (same place) before you buy anything. I either find a substantial discount or verify the price I'm paying is good... which isn't a waste of time either.

Any updates on this? I also have a emachines T3516a (2gig RAM) that I was trying to install Win7 on. Everything I have seen regarding this stop message has pointed to a bios upgrade, but have yet to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Did it give you any error message in words?

    Stop 0x0000005c (0x0000010B, 0x00000003, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) has to do with hardware incompatibility/failure:

    1. Change your power savings in BIOS to either ASPI or ASAPI

    2. hardware abstraction layer error

    3. BIOS needing to be updated

    4. RAM voltage set wrong
