Re: Random BSOD while doing everyday tasks.

    Hi there, welcome.

    1) Install this Microsoft patch to update this driver:

    iaStorV iaStorV.sys Wed Apr 08 12:57:17 2009

An update that improves the compatibility of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 with Advanced Format Disks is available

    2) Visit Intel or your motherboard's website to download and install the latest Intel storage driver:

    iaStor iaStor.sys Thu Jun 04 21:53:40 2009

    3) Uninstall Daemon Tools normally. Then use this installer/uninstaller to remove sptd.sys, being careful to click on "Uninstall" while using:

    DuplexSecure - Downloads

Reboot and install PowerISO to replace it. The disc emulation is free forever:

PowerISO - Create, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Mount, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive

    4) Update Realtek lan driver:

    Rt64win7 Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:13 2009

    RTL8111

    5) Update Realtek HD Audio driver. Run the installer once, reboot and run it again:

    RTKVHD64 RTKVHD64.sys Tue Aug 04 05:50:52 2009

    RtkHDAudio

    6) Must uninstall Cisco PureNetworks. It is definite 100% always in all cases no matter what, fail on Windows 7.

    pnarp pnarp.sys Tue Oct 28 01:57:00 2008

    7) Update your Conexant modem drivers.

Thanks for the help. I have a couple of questions. Thanks in advance.
I download DuplexSecure and it just downloads and i can not install it or do anything with it.
And also is their an automatic driver updater you suggest to use.
And what is a hotfix and is it safe for me to install it.

You'll want to review exactly what I've written and follow it precisely. You can't go wrong, as I do not give risky or any other type of advice that isn't going to set your machine to be the absolute best it can be.

    Enjoy and you're welcome.

Do not ever use any automatic driver update software, unless you want your machine to become unusable.
