New to this Blue Screen

    Lightbulb New to this Blue Screen

    Hello my name is Nick, and i am fluent live streamer and I get blue screen all the time. I dont know what files i need to show or what the issue is.

    1. I have no viruses
    2. All updated drivers
    3. Computer specs AMD FX-8150 Eight Core 3.6 Ghz with 16 GBs of ram running windows home premium 64 bit.

    Let me know with anymore info or files you need.

    Hi Nick, please check out the sticky found here: How to ask for help with a BSOD problem and then post back with the required information.

    Oh by the way.. Is your bios the latest version?

    New to this Blue Screen (All Files Now)

    Hello my name is Nick, and i am fluent live streamer and I get blue screen all the time. I dont know what the issue is or what is causing it but I blue screen at least 2 times a day and its becoming a real pain now!

    1. I have no viruses

    Hi Nick, thanks for the info. Your bios needs updating and dumps point to a cpu problem. Please update your bios to the latest version found here:

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-970A-D3 (rev. 1.0/1.1)

    So I downloaded the F9 one from there site and this is the error im getting Here. I dont see an option to download 32 or 64 bit.

    Hi Nick, that's because it isn't that type of file. You need to extract the contents onto a floppy or thumb drive and then reboot. Press F9 (I think) and this will allow you to enter 'Q flash' which from there you can go on to flash the bios with the new version. There are a number of ways to flash the bios with Gigabyte boards and this page explains the differences:

    Your motherboard manual, if you have it, can also be useful in this instance..

    The BIOS has been updated and will check back in tomorrow night to see if this fixes the issues i have been having.

    Day one is done without a blue screen!!! Thanks for the help! But i am having one more issue, my computer randomly freezes. It comes to a complete the audio echos and the green processor light on the front goes out and the only way to fix it is to hold down the power button.
