Hi, this is my first post.

I just a new user of windows 7, and I was really happy with the search engine of it, until today.
Here the history:
first i copied my files from the old pc and pass to this new pc (windows 7), after copy the files to a folder I organize all the files on others folders.
Then I reallize that the search engine on explorer isn´t working and on the start menu it find the files, but the path was the first path when i copied and not the real one after I orginazed the files.
So I reabuild the indexing options, that on begging i had 31000 files indexed and now I just had 525 after rebuilded, and even if I change the folders for indexing this number always stay around 530 files.

I really like the search engine, I would like that this work as suppose to work... :(

Regards,

GENERAL CYBER/ELECTRONIC CRIME

PandaLabs uncovered a new malicious code, Banbra.GUC, which lures users with a video about the rescue of the trapped Chilean miners.

This is a new variant of the infamous Banbra family of banker Trojans, which first emerged in 2003.

When run, the Trojan displays the video while it delivers its malicious payload.

More specifically, the Trojan is designed to steal passwords for online banking services.

Among the banks affected are Banco Santander and the Banco do Brasil.

If a compromised user visits any of the pages in question, Banbra.GUC downloads some executables that simulate the bank’s page.

Once the user has entered their login details, the executable closes and redirects the user to the genuine Web page of the bank.

The Trojan then sends all this information to its creator via email.

GENERAL CYBER/ELECTRONIC CRIME

Researchers are hoping to get a better insight on botnets after taking down part of Pushdo, one of the top five networks of hacked computers responsible for most of the world's spam.

Thorsten Holz, an assistant professor of computer science at Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany, said his group is working on an academic paper focused on methods to figure out what type of malicious spamming software is on a computer that sent a particular spam e-mail. ...

Holz said they found that Pushdo had a special characteristic in that more than half of its command-and-control servers were concentrated within one hosting company. ...

About 15 of Pushdo's 30 servers were with that one hosting provider, which has now taken those servers offline and shared the data contained within them with Holz and his team.

Their analysis is still ongoing, but they uncovered some 78 GB of plain text e-mail addresses, and that up to 40% of the infected computers were in India, a finding Holz said was surprising.

Other data within those servers should shed greater light on how Pushdo works.

GENERAL CYBER/ELECTRONIC CRIME

Criminals who bilk businesses' online banking accounts have gotten bolder and greedier in their heists over the past year, which could ultimately result in some $1 billion in losses for U.S. companies in 2010. ...

That number is based on the cases that actually get reported, experts say.

The main targets are small- to medium-sized businesses that don't have the security resources todefend themselves against Zeus Trojan infections or social networking-borne attacks duping their users.

Still, large corporations are also getting hit by this form of ecrime, although these cases typically don't reach the public because the banks will cover the losses of their bigger clients since there are more lucrative customers.

Smaller businesses often must take legal action to recoup their losses. ... Not only is it highly profitable, but this type of crime is also easy to execute -- and to get away with.

GENERAL CYBER/ELECTRONIC CRIME

Cyber crooks stole just shy of $1 million from a satellite campus of The University of Virginia last week.... The attackers stole the money from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise,...located in the town of Wise in southwestern Virginia. ...

According to several sources familiar with the case, thieves stole the funds after compromising a computer belonging to the university’s comptroller.

The attackers used a computer virus to steal the online banking credentials for the University’s accounts at BB&T Bank, and initiated a single fraudulent wire transfer in the amount of $996,000 to the Agricultural Bank of China. ...

Sources said the FBI is investigating and has possession of the hard drive from the controller’s PC. ...

The attack on UVA Wise is the latest in a string of online bank heists targeting businesses, schools, towns and nonprofits. Last week, cyber thieves stole more than $600,000 from the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, Iowa.

All MagicJack customers have received a new update that disables Win7 screensavers, displayOFF, and sleep mode. They know they've done this. They are saying they can't reverse it. So if you have MagicJack, you will not be able to use your screensavers, or have any sleep or displayoff settings. Here's what was written to me by a magicjack representative:

enny: Hello, how may I help you?
brian: magic jack disables my screensaver, displayoff, and sleep mode. When MJ is in they don't work. When it is out...works fine. This just started last week. I have Win7 x64 bit and I've had it since October '09. I've had MJ for over a year and a half.
brian: And yes...I've pulled out MJ for 2 or more minutes and rebooted it...no change.
Kenny: Yes Brian, your computer set up for sleep mode and screensaver will not move when the device is plug in, that is the new update since we discover that when the device is plug in magicJack will not work properly and it can give magicJack a side effect.
brian: So what do I do????
Kenny: You can set up your computer on sleep mode and the screen saver but you need to unplug the device however all calls will goes directly to voicemail.
brian: I would like to speak to a supervisor please
Kenny: Alright.
Kenny: One moment please...
Kenny: I am transferring you to one of our top 10% agents as rated by our customers. Please hold while I transfer you.
brian: This option is completely unacceptable.
Please wait while I transfer the chat to the best suited site operator.

You are now chatting with 'Hero'

Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK43601216443X

Hero: Hello Brian. My name is Hero. To better assist you, let me put you on hold while I read your previous chat/s. Thank you.
Hero: Thank you for waiting. I can completely understand how you feel about this matter..This is indeed upsetting and I would have felt the same. magicjack was designed to stay active all the time and will prevent your
Hero: computer from going to sleep state. This is to ensure that there will be no interruption with your calls and magicjack connection You may unplug the magicjack and set the computer to standby mode manually.
brian: Explain this...I've had Win7 for 10 months and had MJ for 20 months. Why is this happening just in the last week?
brian: There's more to this story...
Hero: This is part of the latest upgrade.
brian: I don't want the latest upgrade then
brian: How do I get it off
Hero: I understand but it is no longer possible to reverse it since that is how the magicjack is designed right now to ensure no interruption in your connection.
brian: then you have a problem to fix
brian: because this will be completely unacceptable to Win7 owners...you must know that
brian: I had MSoft people telling me it was my wireless mouse and I went out and spent $40 for a wired mouse...because of this problem...obviously nothing changed
Hero: I can completely understand how you feel about this but unfortunately there is nothing more we can do about this matter since this is how the magicjack software and program is designed right now.
