SkyDrive goes metro, gets more mobile apps

Over the next week, Microsoft is rolling out a new version of SkyDrive, which looks somewhat identical to the app available from the Windows 8 store. Cloud computing is quickly becoming an integral part of Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox and more.

The face lift also comes with a variety of new features, such as instant search, contextual toolbars, thumbnail multi-select, drag-and-drop organization, and HTML5 sorting. The new interface is very similar to the Microsoft's Hotmail replacement, Outlook.com which was released recently and already has 10 million users. The revamped SkyDrive will also bring mobile apps to more platforms.
