What virtual machine should I use? I made clean install of Windows 7 in Dual mode with Windows XP running in VM. Response time for Dragon Naturally Speaking in VM is extremely slow compared to same software running on the same machine under XP.

The notebook is built on MSI barebone PRO0620; has Core 2 Duo processor, 2.2 Ghz and 4 GB RAM; verified that notebook is VM hardware capable and BIOS VM enabled. Has anyone run a VM on this notebook or a similar notebook? Which virtual machine

Windows 7 Dual mode - Advantageous opportunity or waste of precious time

Introduction

I began running Windows 7 in Dual mode with Windows XP in the Virtual Machine because I had a gut feeling I would discover ways of doing things under Windows 7 that I would like to make part of my repertoire, but at the same time I did not want to suddenly stop using applications I have become familiar with and embark upon a venture with a hazy idea of the goal the effort is directed towards.
