  1. Hi, Randy.

    Unfortunately, the Security Zone is fairly quiet here so not much for me to help with.
  2. Thanks Randy. Sorry for not being very active. I been sick in and out for few weeks now.

Randy

Biography:
Retired at age 55 from my former job as I.T. Administrator for a large labor organization. Currently just doing some independent computer consulting and supporting clients using GoToAssist. I have an old and dusty MCSE for Windows NT4 and MCSAs on Windows 2k and 2k3 servers which are both becomming older and dustier. I had a CCNA from Cisco, which I let expire in 2003 since no one I know or worked for was using much in the way of Cisco equpment except some PIX boxes, which I still support sometime. Currently running 2k8r2 server, with Windows 7 32 and 64 bit clients as well as tried and true XP pro. Enjoying Windows 7 and helping where I can.

My BSOD Odyssey

by Trouble on 04-06-2011 at 02:58 PM
After four days of frustration, a very sore forehead and much more gray hair but probably overall less from pulling it out in angry disappointment, I've managed to resolve a very agravating intermittent and quite random Blue Screen issue on my computer.

First, my system, or at least the primary components involved;
Motherboard = Gigabyte GA-870-UD3 (Rev 2.1)
CPU = AMD Phenom II x6 Black Edition Thuban 1090T 3.2 Ghz AM3 125W
Memory = G. Skill Ripjaws Series DDR3 1333
