What info do you mean, in a corporate environment you could use AD to see who's logged in on any connected machines or even remote desktop.
The NIC drivers are they the ones from windows update. If so try the ones from HERE

Mike if unsuitable remove it :))
This site is not bogus. Your pop issues are from somewhere else and not from here. Get malwarebytes and run it in safe mode to clean whatever is doing it.
Are you getting the drivers from windows update as I wouldn't recommend that at all. Go to the board manufactures site or do a search for updated drivers online.
Give me a little time and I'll get those added. But busy atm but thank you for the suggestion. Bit amazed they're not already there.
Mike any chance we can close this thread. It's going nowhere good.
Drew I know you don't like AB but she has as much as right to post as anyone else. She's never offensive and has never had a go...
Isn't necessarily bad ram. Could just be badly configured which is usually the case if the sticks pass on their own.
Ok, if you goto device manager with the device plugged in you may see it listed under other device. Right click it and click update driver software. Click on browse my computer for driver software...
That driver is now part of the AMD Catalyst drivers. Renaming it may break them. If I was the OP. I'd uninstall all drivers and do a driver reinstall starting with the chipset drivers and ending with...
May I suggest you read the sticky at he top of this forum and follow the instructions in there, before asking for help with a BSOD. A picture gives me the code but I really do need more to go on. ...
Crossed fingers it's just that.
Have you tried running Malwarebytes in safe mode? It should pick off anything it couldn't in windows proper.
I just stumbled on your CPU-Z Pics could you go into your bios and set the command rate of your memory to 2 and not the 1 it's at the moment. And if you have a XMP setting in the bios set that.
...
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Could you get CPU-Z and attach pictures of each tab and each memory slot pulldown please. Which will aid in diagnosing your problem.

I'd be grabbing some decent thermal compound and reseating the HSF to see if that helps. Also check the cases airflow :)
Hi,
Could you download memtest and run it please. The errors you're having seem to be pointing to a RAM issue. If possible and available in your bios could you set the CR(COmmand Rate) to 2T...
Randy has just requested I find likes to the latest AMD Chipset drivers and they can be grabber from here.
Just do them all :)
Just run the setup file in the folder, should install them :)
Could you post your dmp files please, so we can analyze them.
Any chance of a pic of the folders, so I can try and help you. :)
You can get all the drivers from Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States] Inclusing an updated bios which may well help. :)
I'll need to know what motherboard etc to find the correct drivers. Get cpu-z and take screen grabs of each tab please.
Have you tried updating your motherboard and usb drivers at all?
Burn the cd at the slowest speed normally resolves this problem.
If you say so, but the only way to rule it out even after passing prime95 is to return to stock and see if the system stabilizes. It could be the combined load of the gpu's plus the overclock that...
It's your overclock atleast drop down to 4ghz and see if they go away. Or even better see if it happens at stock.
No need to start a new thread.
Also don't get the drivers from asus. Get the intel drivers from intel and the realtek ones from realtek themselves. May I also suggest you leave AI Suite well alone.
Uninstall the current video driver first, then reboot and try again. As for the service pack get the upgrade readiness tool and let it do it's thing.
Disable the services. SSD's don't need defrag and they really don't need superfetch. Both of those service put unnecessary load on SSD's.
Sorry to jump in Randy, but can we have some details from cpu-z and rammon. This could just be a simple bios config problem.
Firstly upgrade windows to service pack 1, this is really important. Then goto AMD MOBILE DRIVERS and install them. Thats it really. If you have anymore issues get back to us.
This is the driver Silicon Image 3132
May I suggest as your using a ssd you disable defrag and superfetch services and see how it goes.
Not true pre SP1 Keys work fine with the images :)
I have the full list of links here. I was keeping it simple. For example http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24209.iso Windows HP 32 bit. Of course you still need a valid license to use the...
Is working fine here. The beta updated earlier for me.
Andrea, you can download windows 7 ISOs legally, so I'm sorry to say that statement is completely false.
LMAO Laughing My Arse Off
So Just disable metro and use a start menu. Then it behaves just like windows 7. Or for my sanity stick with windows 7 and stop worrying about something you've never used.
Nah simple mistake with names, I do see your point though :D
Andrea that was warning of a config error, not that you have a virus. I still think you're being foolish for not running AV, but it's your system so do what you want.
Everyone else runs AV quite...
I use comodo and haven't yet had a virus. With AV it's each to their own. Most viri get onto system because of the users own surfing activities. All the virus protection in the world isn't going to...
Firstly Obviously the server for the forum is protected as well as backed up. Secondly you can't BAN someone for not using AV. Like what next banning someone if you don't like the fact they use...
If nobody minds, I'll jump in. If I were you I'd dismantle the machine completely and then rebuild it checking each connection as I went. This could be as simple as video card badly seated or short...
Andrea, my apologies for calling you Angela, a simple mistake. Later today I shall be asking Admin if this thread can be closed as it's going nowhere.
On a personal note, I wouldn't close the...
Drew I have an idea, just ignore her threads. Problem solved :)
You should really take your own advice drew. You don't have to agree or even like Angela, but there is no need to be impolite and attack her.
I disagree with almost everything she says but you...
That you know of. There are viri on Windows all versions of windows. I shall not attack you for you misinformed views but in my opinion you are being foolish.
In your bios if you goto M.I.T all the settings you require are in there. :)
On topic is good, you're still wrong though IMHO.
You need to upgrade to service pack 1 and the bsod is related to your kinect camera drivers :)
Try updating to sp1 and then updating the kinect drivers.
You need to run cpu-z and the sf tool as admin then nothing will be blank. The Cpu-z shots as some tabs are blank is fairly useless :(
The dmp files plus cpu-z and sf util are the be all and end all as they tell us what caused the bsod and your system specs. Being able to see memory settings etc makes it easier for us to diagnose...
You can auto login just like all previous OS's as for metro look for metro tweak :)
Andrea could you try and keep your posts factual. Windows 8 does have a start menu you just have to disable metro. All the software that runs on 7 runs well on 8 too. So please stop with your ill...
I find it difficult to understand how Andrea seems to not have noticed we've said you can disable metro and have a start menu, making the OS IDENTICAL! to windows 7.
Windows 8 is perfectly usable been using it since the preview came out with no problems. It's just like windows 7 but with a metro ui. It's faster and perfectly stable. I'm not sure where you get...
18133 That's all I have to say. ;)
May I make a couple of suggestions. First set your ddr voltage to 2,0V and see how it goes. Also as your running a 9850 cpu try turning the htt mhz to 1800 instead of the default of 2000. Another...
Hi
May I suggest you stop overclocking for the time being and enable xmp in your bios so the memory gets configured properly.
I've seen that BSOD so many times and 99% of the time a bump in vcore sorts it out. :)
One dump isn't much info to go ob, but you're getting a stop 0x124 which is hardware. Stop any overclocking your doing or turn up your vcore alittle. CPU-Z screen grabs of every tab would also be...
Sorry I could've been clearer :)
Would love to help can you get screenshots from cpu-z of each tab please.
Hi
Can you run chkdsk /R from a cmd prompt opened as admin please :) Looks like hard drive corruption the chkdsk should hopefully fix it for you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2Nq39Xw7glw
Yes is my Fav! :)
Do you like Jack Daniels?
You could just use the vista drivers for the gpu on 7.
Ah please ignore I now notice Randy has suggested the same thing.
How are you trying to install the service pack thru windows update or the standalone installer?
Get the windows update readiness tool and run that. Then do the service pack as you do need it as it supplies quiet a few security updates.
Simple answer NO!
Hi
In your bios can you change the TRAS setting to 25 and set the memory speed to 800(1600)
Also boost the DDR Voltage to 1.55V. I'd also boost the NB-SB Voltage by 0.10V if possible and see how it...
Can you remove all traces of your video drivers and then run driversweeper in safe mode. Then install the latest WHQL drivers from Nvidia please. Reinstalling DirectX may also be a good idea.
...
It stands for extreme memory profile and is only supported if your memory says it fine to use. On the memory boards theres a spd chip XMP makes it use the fastest setting that's allowed by the mem....
Hi
Can you go into your bios and find the XMP setting and enable it please. That should hopefully fix your problem. :)
Set your memories command rate to 2T and NOT 1T :)
Andrea may I suggest you open a cmd prompt with admin rights and run sfc /scannow and after that install Microsoft Security essentials and run a full system scan.

Hi,
I have a few suggestions for you. Could you update your bios to the lastest from gigabyte
Can you also set your memory timings to 9-9-9-25 2T, I'd also recommend getting the latest...
Hi
Could you re-run the SF Diagnostic Tool and zip up a fresh copy and attach it please. Would like a current view of the devices and drivers in play.
This will teach you Kev, never read the book of lies (Manual) :D
You been getting the latest driver for your lan from realteks site?
Good to hear. What motherboard you got?
How long it takes is dependent on how powerful your machine is. On my a 45 min tv episode takes about 30mins. I use dvddecrypter to rip the dvd and megui to convert to a format my phone will play. It...
Putting a laptop on a soft surface isn't the best of idea's as it'll block the air vent's. As the last bsod mentioned ataport.sys can you open a command prompt with admin rights and run chkdsk c:...
You really need to run memtest on each stick and to test eac stick in each slot on the mobo. Time consuming and a pain but needs to be done.
Hi
Not surprised as it's has nothing to do with Origin. Looking at your dumps and cpu-z pics. Firstly your memory timings are out. You need to enable xmp in your bios. Secondly could you remove...
Positive thoughts man.............;)
I've found a couple of thing for you to try.
Can you uninstall asus ai suite ans asus Turbo V Evo. These programs really don't help with troubleshooting. They could also be the cause of your bsods.
Could you also in the bios, set your command rate to 2 and if the bsods continue set your ddr voltage to 1.60V
Hi,
Bsod seems to be caused by memory corrupt. Need CPU-Z screenies of each tab and memory slot.
Hi
May I suggest before we do anything you update to service pack 1. Also as you're overclocking try turning off cool&quiet.
Hi,
Could you firstly check to see if there's a bios update for your board. If so update it. Could you also turn off cool&quiet in the bios and look for a setting called either BEMP\BMP or XMP and...
I have to ask before going any further are you overclocking? The one dmp file blames your nvidia drivers the latest though being a stop 0x124 is hardware and related to your cpu.
I need way more...
Glad I could help and welcome to the forum :)
Run regedit as admin and search for the dll and delete any occurrences of it. Then reboot
CPU isn't the greatest but it'll run 7 just fine, video chipset is supported as it's the same as my laptop. Machine also has plenty of ram so that won't be a problem. I think what dell are saying is...
Wrong. The machine will run windows 7, it won't be fast but it'll run it just fine.
