AMD have an updated 11.8 preview driver out. Highlights include:

AMD Catalyst Driver 11.8 early Preview Features:

Delivers performance enhancements for the AMD Radeon HD 5000/6000 Series. Includes enhancements to the AMD Catalyst Control Center. New task based Display Management controls

Enhanced support for generic read-write memory and highperformance atomics in shaders (EXT_shader_image_load_store and ARB_shader_atomic_counters extensions), allowing advanced graphics algorithms to be implemented. Increased flexibility in how texture memory is allocated and managed (ARB_compressed_texture_pixel_storage and EXT_texture_storage extensions). Improved control and access to geometry instancing for improved performance (ARB_transform_feedback_instanced and ARB_base_instance).

I did some benching and this driver is fast. Especially if your an owner of a 5000/6000 series card . Try running the Heaven bench and see..

Nvidia have released their version of the OpenGL 4.2 update:

hope they better than the 11.8 previews, cos they sucked for DIRT3 (at least pre 1.2 update edition, haven't tested since then)

11.8 plus the latest cap package and dirt3 is fine here, good boost in perf in most of my games. Had my first BSOD with these though while waking from sleep. I would follow my own advice with bsods but to be frankly honest I really can't be bothered at the moment

Good to hear, just for some reason I found 11.7 and 11.8 preview dropped about 20-30fps which is very noticable even on a fast rig, recently rolled back to 11.6b v2 (fastest previous drivers I find). Will test whql 11.8 maybe later and report findings.

Good news, the 11.8 whql does indeed fix the DIRT3 FPS dropping glitch

AMD has released the official Catalyst 12.2 graphics driver for the HD 2000 series and above. This driver enables Windows Vista and 7 support for the HD 7900 and HD 7700 series, adds Supersampling AA in DX10 and DX11 games, and has Eyefinity 2.1 enhancements.

Nvidia has released the 296.10 WHQL certified driver. This driver is for GeForce 6 and higher desktop cards. It adds support for the GeForce GTX 560 SE, boosts SLI performance in several games, adds 3D Vision support for new games, and contains bug fixes. The driver package also updates the PhysX drivers to version 9.12.0213.
