AMD Catalyst™ 12.4b Hotfix Driver

We’ve recently identified an issue where some of our legacy graphics products are producing certain artifacts in Diablo III and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with our latest release of AMD Catalyst™ 12.4. This issue affects users of ATI Radeon™ HD 2400, 2600, 2900, 3400, 3600 and 4500 graphics cards.
Resolution:
This issue has now been addressed with the AMD Catalyst 12.4b hotfix driver. Users of the ATI Radeon HD 2400, 2600, 2900, 3400, 3600 and 4500 graphics cards should download this hotfix driver.

Download and install the driver from the following location:

With the release of the AMD Catalyst™ 12.6 Beta driver (“Catalyst”), AMD would also like to announce that we are moving away from our Monthly Catalyst release plan. Our goal is to ensure that every Catalyst release delivers a substantial benefit to our end users; as we have today with the release of the Catalyst 12.6a Beta. Nvidia has released the Beta 304.48 graphics driver. This driver is for GeForce 6 and higher desktop cards under Windows Vista and 7. It contains performance improvements in a range of games, new SLI and 3D Vision profiles, and bug fixes. The driver package also contains the 9.12.0604 PhysX drivers

This article provides information on the latest posting of AMD’s software suite, AMD Catalyst™12.6. This particular software suite updates the AMD display driver and the AMD Catalyst Control Center/AMD Vision Engine Control Center. This unified driver has been updated and is designed to provide enhanced level of power, performance, and reliability. Package Content The AMD Catalyst software suite 12.6 contains the following: AMD display driver version 8.98 HydraVision™ for Windows Vista® and Windows® 7 Southbridge/IXP Driver AMD Catalyst Control Center version 8.98/AMD Vision Engine Control Center version 8.98. Caution! The AMD Catalyst Control Center/AMD Vision Engine Control Center requires that the Microsoft® .NET Framework SP1 be installed for Windows XP and Windows Vista. Without .NET SP1 installed, the AMD Catalyst Control Center/AMD Vision Engine Control Center will not launch properly and the user will see an error message. Notes. When installing the AMD Catalyst driver for Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Catalyst driver. Nvidia has released the 9.12.0613 PhysX drivers. These are newer than the PhysX version included in the latest 304.48 Beta GeForce graphics drivers.
