Chrome-Final version

The Chrome Dev Channel is currently serving a new version of Google's browser for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The 8.0.552.23 release comes with multiple stability fixes, it resolves some sign-in issues, a problem with importing from Firefox, and it unfortunately has accelerated 2D canvas disabled.

The Chrome Dev Channel has once again been updated and is now hosting the 9.0.570.0 version of Google's browser which is available for all major desktop platform - Windows, Mac OS and Linux, and comes with various bug fixes.
Chrome 9.0.570.0 resolves the following issues:
Mac
- Make sure the dock icon is updated after closing an incognito window with an in-progress download (Issue 48391)
Linux
- Fix incorrect border colors in incognito mode. (Issue 52815)
Security
- Require a user gesture when opening file choose dialog and make sure file choose dialog from invisible windows can not be displayed (Issue 58319)

Chrome 7.0.517.44 stable update available, brings security fixes

While the Dev Channel can brag with reaching version 9.0 of Google's browser, today the Chrome Stable Channel has to settle for another 7.0 release, more specifically, version 7.0.517.44, which is available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux.

This new Chrome build includes the following bug fixes:

- [51602] High Use-after-free in text editing.

- [55257] High Memory corruption with enormous text area.

- [58657] High Bad cast with the SVG use element.

- [58731] High Invalid memory read in XPath handling.

- [58741] High Use-after-free in text control selections.

- [Linux only] [59320] High Integer overflows in font handling.

- [60055] High Memory corruption in libvpx.

- [60238] High Bad use of destroyed frame object.

- [60327] [60769] [61255] High Type confusions with event objects.

Yet another Dev Channel update of Google's browser is upon us but it only comes for Windows and Linux, no Mac version just yet. Known as Chrome 9.0.576.0, this new release resolves several bugs that can lead to crashes.

Beside killing bugs, Chrome 9.0.576.0 includes:

All

- Typing on a form with highlighted profile, keeps its highlighted value. (Issue 58774)

- Handle selection changes due to AutoFill more carefully. (Issue 58774)

- Autofill popup labels should reflect the contents of the HTML form. (Issue 58887)

Linux

- Port SSLClientSocketNSS to use Windows CryptoAPI for SSL client authentication. (Issue 37560)

A new Dev Channel release of Google's browser, version 9.0.597.10, has now been made available and while it lacks fresh features, it does include stability fixes and minor UI tweaks to boost the user's experience.
Chrome 9.0.597.10 comes in two flavors - for Windows and Mac OS, and can be found on this page .

Google has released Version 8.0.552.224 of the Chrome browser. This version contains a range of security and bug fixes.
