Microsoft has released Autoruns 10.02, updating this free startup software identification utility. This version fixes a bug in Autorunsc that had default to filtering out signed Windows components.

Microsoft has released Autoruns 10.03, updating this free startup software identification utility. This version adds a number of additional shell extension locations and reports Safe Mode’s alternateshell value.

Autoruns has now reached version 10.6 and can be downloaded here: http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/Autoruns.zip

Microsoft has released Autoruns 11.30, updating this free startup software identification utility. Changes include adding several new autostart locations, reporting the target of Rundll32 and other host executables, as well as bug fixes.

Autoruns has been updated to version v11.32

This utility, which has the most comprehensive knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs are configured to run during system bootup or login, and shows you the entries in the order Windows processes them. These programs include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other Registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, auto-start services, and much more. Autoruns goes way beyond the MSConfig utility bundled with Windows Me and XP.
