There was another demo/short movie doing the rounds recently which apparently was a game that was going to be in direct competition with HAWX

Indeed a shame kemical. It certainly looks good but i wonder what the reason for cancelling it was.

Just to digress a moment...

That particular games manufacturer (THQ) brought out games called 'Supreme Commander' and 'Supreme Commander-Forged Alliance'.
These were based on an original game called 'Total Annihilation' which I used to play years ago (1997). I still play these games almost every day and was really happy when the above manufacturer announced 'Supreme Commander 2' (although to be fair THQ is just the distributer and it's actually 'Gas powered games', run by Chris Taylor, that actually manufacture the games). So perhaps they have decided to concentrate their efforts on to just that one game?

I have just seen HAWX in the Coming Soon section on GAME.co.uk - Buy video games, consoles and accessories with free UK delivery - GAME.co.uk so i have placed a preorder for it and it expected to be released on Feb 27th.
