    Microsoft Office

Hello, this may seem a little lame so I apologize but I hope for some help.

When I bought this computer I received the free trial of microsoft 2007 office trial blabla. That ran out obviously and I have been missing it for a while now. Recently I found the old office XP discs and decided to DL them because I need to have word, ppt, excel and such on my computer. I accidentally forgot to uninstall the old microsoft 2007 and when I tried opening word, excel, ppt they all went to the trial is over renew code page. So I decided it wasn't too late to uninstall it all, but in the middle of the uninstallation the process got interrupted and glitched , so now when I try to uninstall any of them it says I need to renew my source blabla to uninstall, I am not really sure how to go about this, I just want Microsoft office off of my computer so I can reinstall office xp.

All help is greatly appreciated! thanks ahead!

EDIT: Hopefully this is where I should post .

    Re: Microsoft Office

Have you checked out this knowledgebase article? It should work, even for the trial edition:

How to manually uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature

You can also try to System Restore to a time before this all took place before attempting this.

To use System Restore to return your system to a previous time, simply go to Start -> System Restore

    Best,
    Mike
