we have a Nikon total station DTM-720 and its an old devise, and can only be connected to dos system, through serial port.
we tried connecting the serial port to a USB but the windows only show a USB input devise and no data is received orcan be shown on the computer.
we used transit and trimble data transfer software but they were not working.
so we need one of these things:
1. a software to receive serial port data through USB.
2. a PCMCI (the DTM-720 has a PCMCI memory card in it) to usb card reader for new computers.
and please i need help fast.
