    I want to convert my DVD into a format that I can watch on my iPhone

    I want to convert my DVD into a format that I can watch on my iPhone. How do I do this?

    Is there any free software that will do this for me? And approximately how long will the whole process take?

    I have found a link to a free download that will do as you require . I do not know if the software once downloaded is still free to use .

    How long it takes is dependent on how powerful your machine is. On my a 45 min tv episode takes about 30mins. I use dvddecrypter to rip the dvd and megui to convert to a format my phone will play. It has profiles for iphone and most other smartphones as well as ones for hd and avi formats.
