I experienced this problem soon after upgrading from vista to windows 7. When i leave the computer until it goes into screen saver and then come back a few minutes later, my personalized window color will change into a pale blue color soon after waking the computer from the screen saver. The screen will flash a couple of times and then the change will happen. I am then unable to change the pale blue window color back to my personalized color until i restart or shut of my PC. My background however is still the same. When i attempt to change this ugly pale blue color by clicking on the "Window Color" option in personalization, the "Advanced appearance settings..." window pops up instead.

Any suggestions? Thx!
