What Circle Dock Allows You to Do:

-Launch your programs from a circular dock.

-Drag and drop your files, folders, and shortcuts onto a circular dock that you can re-size.

-Rotate the dock with either your mouse wheel or the keyboard arrow keys.

-Change the image shown for the icons and change the skins (compatible with icons and skins for Rocket Dock, Object Dock, etc.)

-The dock appears where your mouse is by pressing a hotkey (default is F1) or your middle mouse button, other options available.

-Tested on computers with multiple monitors, Windows XP/Vista/7, 32-bit & 64-bit, and requires only .Net Framework 2.0.

-Automatically works on all Windows Vista and 7 computers and most Windows XP computers.

-Settings panel that allows you to customize many options. It updates your dock as you make changes. See it change in real time! No need to press an OK button.

-Multi-language capable. Just translate the English.ini file to the language of your choice. 50+ Languages currently available

-Change the image used for the dock icons with the easiest method out there: Just set the program to "Icon Replacement Mode" in the right-click menu of the center icon and you can change all the icon images by just dragging and dropping new PNG images onto them! -Toggle the visibility of the dock by moving your mouse to any edge of your screen. By default, the left and right edges are used for toggling. No need to press a button!

Y'z Dock is a program launcher like the dock in MacOS X. In order to add icons, drag and drop a file (.exe, shortcut, etc.) straight from Explorer to the dock area. In order to delete an icon, drag and drop the icon out of dock. Place the PNG images for your icons in the icons folder. Right-click on the icons in the dock, choose 'Property' and choose your icons images there. Right-click anywhere on your dock background and choose 'Setting' to change the settings that apply to the dock itself.

Here is a completely new type of launcher/dock/interface/everything else. And nothing against these apps here, but it is on another level, so to speak. It is not only a new medium, but an entirely new type of medium. I have no doubt that it will be the dominant medium(not necessarilty Splinter, but the "medium" of splinter) within twenty years, on Earth.

I am giving "free" copies to all those people that want it but are unable to afford it. ($20) There are many people around the world that would find 20$ hard to come by and no one should have to go without Splinter, it defeats its reason for being. Technically, it is a "loaner" copy...They can keep it forever, though, and not pay. However, if they wish to sell their splinterface creations, commercially, they must pay the 20$ out of their proceeds from the sale. They do not have to pay until and only if they decide to make money with it. I think this is very fair. On many levels. Splinter's purpose is to have people creating their own imagnings , ultimately filling up a splinterface database that can be accessed by the masses, so as to allow for an end user to 'instantly" click into any situation or scenario they desire.

If I find another topic that this is better suited for I will remove this one and post it in there. I will modify it however it needs to be done, just please tell me what to do and dont just yank it without explanation, thank you.

You know with the superbar these docks for win7 are kind of moot unless you have a crapload of apps inside of it or dont use small icons in the superbar.
But I do really like Rocketdock, it does have some nice features in it

If "you" are interested in appearance, they are not useless, at all.
