Opening In Half Screen.

    Smile Opening In Half Screen.

    Hi. When ever i open up My Computer or any other icon on the Desktop they always open in half screen. I have fixed the same issue in IE but this issue i cant fix. I have tried many many suggestions in regards to this issue and none have worked, that's why I'm here. I am using Windows 7 64 Pro. Can anyone please help. Thank you in advanced.

    Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P Mobo
    Silverstone 560W

    Adjust the size of a window or maximize it, then exit. Next time you start it should open the window the size you set. Disable any 3rd party software that may override this, such as Hydragrid for example.

    Thank you for your reply. I have tried and keep trying to do what you are suggesting but with no luck. It will still open in half screen. I'm am not sure what you mean by 3rd party? The only thing running in the back ground is my Anti virus and Firewall.

    Right click the shortcut. Properties then shortcut tab.

    Change the "run" dropdown to say maximized. Hit ok to save.

    Thank you TorrentG. That did work on program icons but still when I open My Computer, it opens in half screen.
