    Unhappy restore point

i would like to know if there is an option to turn on my restore point but not eating up my hardisk space??? because restore point in windows 7, its always creating restore point thats why my hardisk space is decreasing. i prefer to turn it off than on.

Do you know what it is that's creating these restore points?

You can right-click on the Computer icon on the desktop, choose properties, click the System Protection tab and click the Configure button to set the size.

BTW, how large is your hard drive?
