LOGITECH QUICKCAM PRO 9000 - Sometimes you see, sometimes you don't!
Although I installed the proper Win 7 - 64bit driver for my Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000, and the camera was recognized ok by the OS, etc., sometimes it just disappears or is "lost" or gone from the devices list, while being used or just by pointing it somewhere! I actually confronted this nuisance since my not so far away Win XP days.
Also, every now and then, a windows pops up and tells me the camera is connected to 1.1 USB device! The 2.0 USB controller is enabled in the BIOS.
Does anyone confronts the same problems with this webcam brand?
I have dual, SLI, Nvidia GE Force 9800 cards installed with the latest driver for my OS. I'm also running 8Gbytes of RAM, on a 64 bit OS, installed on an ASUS M3N-HD/HDMI, with a Dual Core Athlon, 2.66 Ghz.
