Printer settings are lost after logoff with Win7 Roaming profile

I have a user that has a problem with the printer settings being reset every time she logs in to one PC. She has a Win7 Roaming profile. Both PCs are running Win7. It works fine on her PC, but when she roams to the front desk the label printer always has the wrong paper type. We can change the paper type and it works fine the rest of that session, but the next time she logs into this PC it is the wrong paper type again. The label printers are identical and installed locally at each PC. Other users do not have this problem. Any thought?

you could try Changing the Printer Settings.

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and select "Printers" from the menu that appears.

2. Right-click the printer that you would like to change settings for, and select "Properties" from the menu that appears.

3. A tabbed window will open, displaying many settings that you can change.

Note: Each printer has a different setup of this window, so for exact modification information, refer to your printer manual.

4. Navigate through the many tabs, and change the settings you would like to change.

Tip: On the General tab, you can use the "Print Test Page" button to be sure that you printer is working correctly.

5. Once you have finished changing settings, click the Apply button.

6. Click the OK button.
