Unable to hear SOUNDS on Asus k8m800

Hi TEAM,
i installed windows 7 yesterday on my ASUS k8v-mx {k8m800} motherboard..
my problem is that the drivers cd that i got with my motherboard that hav drivers,video drivers are working fine but audio drivers are giving problem.
i tried to update the drivers but windows upadte gives the error...
plz help me...

Make sure Windows is updated.

Make sure speakers work and that they are properly hooked up into the right ports - Make sure the audio card is fully functional.

Try Control Panel> Sound and make sure that your speakers are set to DEFAULT and that the volume is turned up all the way. Make sure it's not muted.
