How do I make a Logical Drive on Windows 7?
Hey all,
I am just wondering how I can make a logical drive in Windows 7 as it seems to be a little different than XP. So far I have created one partition while installing Win 7 ( C:\, Master) and left the rest of the HDD unallocated during the installation. Now, when I go to the Disk Management utility in Win 7 and right click on the unallocated space of the HDD, the only option I can choose is "New Simple Volume"
Is "New Simple Volume" the same thing as making a logical drive (D:\, Slave)????? I don't remember it being like this on XP. If it is not the same, is there an alternate way I can make the logical drive???
