    Dual boot question

Hi, I have XP Pro 32bit installed on a 160Gb Sata disc and I wanted to install the 64bit version of Windows 7 on another disc. My question is to protect my XP install should I disconnect the disc or is it safe to leave them both connected and just run a dual boot system.
    Cheers
    J.

    Hello and Welcome to Windows7forums..

You shouldn't run into any problems by leaving the XP drive connected.. I have 2 rig's setup with XP on one HDD and Win 7 on another and I have had absolutely no problems at all with them.. You'd more than likely run into a problem with the boot manager if you disconnected the XP HDD..
