Internet wont work through ethernet cable, help please!!

    Internet wont work through ethernet cable, help please!!

    Hey

    I have recently got broadband, the wireless works fine through my laptop but when i attach an ethernet cable through my router it doesnt work properly. It says i am connected to the internet but when i open the browser, i cant load web pages

    It says when i plug in the ethernet cable i am connected to two networks, one being my router but then it comes up with another which is some unidentifyied network, which i cant alter any of the settings for

    does anyone know how i can solve the problem?
