DNS server not responding?

Your dns server address is still set to an external address and I wouldn't expect it to be - check that you have selected the option "obtain dns server address automatically." If your are certain you have and it still does not show 192.168.1.1 as your dns server address in the ipconfig listing then you will have to set it manually - unchecking the automatic dns option and manually entering 192.168.1.1. You will always have to reboot after making these changes - did you do that?

All looks ok. The alternate dns server may or not be valid but as long as your are connected to that router (or any router with an IP address of 192.168.1.1 it is not going to be ever used. Glad the laptop problem seems to be sorted.

Best thing to do is to set the various addresses to be assigned automatically then you can forget it. Go to control panel, network and sharing centre, change adapter settings, right click on wireless connection. Single click on Internet Protocol Version 4 and click on properties. Are you on a cable connection or ADSL? (Looks like it might be cable). What is the make and model of your router? You seem to have IPv6 enabled on your wireless connection - you are very unlikely to be using it and I would disable it.
