I'm a newly installed Windows 7 user. I've migrated from XP and so am currently finding out about the new features of Win7. Windows Media Centre is one of those features and having used TVersity to stream my media files over the network I thought that I'd try and give WMC a go and see how it fares.

However, I'm having troubles streaming to WMP. Is this even possible? I can stream to my 360 without any trouble but just cannot seem to get WMP on my laptop to see the files on my WMC desktop via WMC. Obviously I can ply them over a UNC share but I'd like to be able to transcode and buffer when necessary.

Am I missing something?
