How do I turn off the auto-fullscreen function for windows in windows 7?

Really like windows 7 except from some stuffs that I never get used to...
Please if anyone knows where I could turn it off in any settings for windows 7. Tried to search for it on google but didn't found what I was looking for.

I should ask what do you mean by the auto fullscreen function?
But perhaps you mean, when you drag a window to the edge of the screen, it expands?
If so, open the ease of access centre.
Click "Make the mouse easier to use"
Click the second option " Prevent windows from automatically......etc)
Apply, then log off or restart.

I've done this but the windows continue to expand. Do I have to do this every time I open a window? Is there a way to permanently prevent the window from going full screen? Very frustrating!
