Angry Windows Media Player Will Not Launch

I am running a 32 bit version of 7 Home Prem. For some reason WMP is not launching from the its icons on the task bar or in the start menu, nor by trying to open a WMV file. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Some additional info:

I can see the WMP icon in the start menu, but I don't see it located in Progams and Features in my control panel or in Revo Uninstaller. I do have iTunes installed and set as my default music player if this info helps.

I don't know what was going on, but this was solved by the all powering Restart.
