This doesn't seem to be working on Windows 7. Wondering if anyone has a solution to administer Active Directory other than remoting into the domain controllers?

Thread Starter RSAT for Vista does not work either as it requires Vista SP1. This also means that RSAT does not currently support Vista SP2.
Thread Starter Microsoft released a beta version of RSAT for Windows 7, this is great news. Here is the link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
I am installing as we speak.
I have installed the new Admin Pack and it appears to be working properly. I haven't tested it much as I have been looking for workarounds for issues like my Cisco VPN, but what I have tested (ADUC, DNS, etc...) appears to be working properly. I am going to try a few things like GPM today or Tuesday.

Hi Guys
I have version that works. It was on Microsofts website 5 months ago,but not any more.
How should I get it across to you guys?
RSAT is good but if you administer Exchange 2003 or Live Communication Server 2005 I prefer this solution:
Windows7-kb3 ADUC with exchange 2003 and Live Communications Server 2005 extension - JBKB
These RSAT download links worked for me. Then I followed this tutorial Windows Tutorial: Installing Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Windows 7 to install ADUC. Hopefully, this post will save you time installing ADUC on Windows 7.
