another driver prob

i have just installed win 7 pro on my wifes advent t9402 pc i cant get win7 to play any sounds the card is a CMedia CMI9880L any help would be grateful

Typically Vista drivers should work on Win7....

here's one I found that may work

cheers for that i went to the website signed up but never got the confirmation email

Hi and welcome to windows7forums.

Are you on the RC? Maybe there is a driver for it in the RTM. First thing I would try if you havent already is run Windows update.
Here is another thing you could try by someone else who has the same problem as you. Good luck.
