    ad hoc networking problems

Looking for a solution, how to getting an ad hoc network between a windows vista home premium and a windows 7 home premium machine to work? We can easily log on to the network... But can't see each other..

    Turn off IPv6.
To set up an ad-hoc wireless network, each wireless adapter must be configured for ad-hoc mode versus the alternative infrastructuremode. In addition, all wireless adapters on the ad-hoc network must use the same SSID and the same channel number.
Make sure Network Discovery is turned on and create appropriate exceptions for the Firewall settings on both computers. Do not use Homegroups on Win 7.
