Via USB Enhanced Host Controller Nixing USB Keyboard and Mouse
Hey all!
I've been having issues with my PC detecting my USB Keyboard and Mouse for some time now. Sometimes it would detect them and go to install them but then tell me "The device is unplugged" (whih wasn't true, I checked all of the cables everytime. Usually I have to uninstall the USB tree and reinstall it several times before it detects my mouse and keyboard, but recently something else happened. During my uninstall/reinstall pattern, I noticed it had detected my keyboard/mouse, but when it reinstalled the Via USB Enhanced Host Controller, my pc suddenly lost connection with both of them. When I disabled the Controller, suddenly I had mouse and keyboard again. Any idea what could cause this? Is the "enhanced" usb host controller important? I haven't noticed a difference as my usb doesn't seem to work correctly when it's enabled. :/ Any thoughts or information would be appreciated.
