keep getting dll errors causing my applications to stop working correctly....

in particular im getting this error.

"Faulting application name: Magicka. exe, version 1.4.0.6, tune stamp:0x4e6fa0f4
Faulting module name: KERNALBASE.dll, version:6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e211319
    Exception Code: 0xe434f4d
    Faulting offset: 0x0000b9bc
    Faulting process id: 0x %9
    Faulting application start time: 0x%10
    Faulting application path: %11
    Faulting module path: %12
    Report Id: %13"

is there anyone that can help me resolve this issue.

to give you a little more insight, im having trouble turning on .Net in the programs section of the control panel. when i attempt to turn it on i get an error that says not all of the features were activated and then if i go back to it, its still unchecked.

    are the two problems related?
