Randomly lettered and numbered file showed up in my C drive today...

Actually, this was the exact file name: 452923516fa61b0698feabf31478

Now I'm a massive noob when it comes to these things, but when I was loading up my computer I noticed it was loading EXTREMELY slow today. Slower than usual when its start to desktop speed is usually 20 seconds. Steam was downloading something, and I tried opening up Chrome as well, with Skype too. My computer usually runs all of these fine on startup as well. My computer also ended up freezing and I had to hard shut down my computer. Is this a trojan or a virus? Or is it something I shouldn't have to worry about?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi

Start by running Malwarebytes and see if you have any kind of Malware.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Download.com

I've seen files like this on my computer, seems to be connected with Windows Updates.
I don't find any of them now so maybe they are temporary files.

If you don't already you might want to download and run CCleaner.
It will clean up all the junk safely.

    CCleaner - Download.com

    Mike
