About LinkBacksWell, I did the erase to factory settings, but when I went to find my Windows 7 download on my K drive it was nowhere to be found. Is there a way to get the download from Microsoft. I bought it online. I have key.

Thread Starter Here is the fix I got for my problem from Sony:
Hi
Thank you for writing back. Please reinstall the software and if it still hangs follow these instructions:
Click on Start or the circle Windows flag on the bottom left hand corner and in the search field, type msconfig and hit Enter on your keyboard. In this new window, click on the Services tab and scroll down until you find a service called Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0.
Uncheck the box to the left of this service, then click Apply and OK.
You computer may request that you restart. Please do so and then open up Vegas.
