URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE

NEED URGENT HELP ******

I'm currently running Windows 7 16bit on my acer laptop but I have a CD for 32bit that I wish to install.

When starting my acer laptop up, i press f2 to go into set up, but all that comes up is 'ENTER CURRENT PASSWORD' which confuses me.

I've entered the wrong password in 3 times, and all it says is 'SYSTEM WILL HAULT' and nothing else happens.

Help please!!

No such thing - do you mean you have 32 bit and are wanting to install 64 bit? What are you trying to do when you press f2 - get into the bios to set boot from the optical drive? If so it sounds like it may be protected by a password but there are usually "back doors" into bios systems - the bios on acer is usually a phoenix - if so the try the word "phoenix" (without the quotes) as a bios password.
