    Desktop help please...

I have the following, on the top left corner of my desktop, and want it gone.

If you can tell me how to get rid of it, I would be most grateful...

    Cheers,
    Richard

Can you tell us what the web address is?

It appears the word "virus" in the address.

It is hard to read, but it looks like "http://duiops.net/seresvirus" or some variation there of. Like I said it is small and hard to read... Thank you for any help you can give me.

The thing to do would probably be a thorough scan. Be sure you have the latest updates for your antivirus, and you could make another scan with Malwarebytes.

There is a virus called Seres, seres.exe Windows process - What is it?

It's probably a "gift" from duiops.net. I would do the scans, and check that the seres is mentioned in the scan report as dangerous. If you can't see it there, you can do a normal search for the file, and delete it manually. As far as I can see, no seres anything is vital for Windows.

EDIT: Might be wise to avoid duiops.net? Or at least improve your protection level?
