RAID 0 Failure with running QuickTime
I have clients that I have built RAID 0 array computers and all of them have the NVIDIA chipset except one has INTEL ICH7R. Intel updated their storage drivers so as not to allow the Quicktime app to shutdown the second drive in a RAID 0 Stripped array. Once you update the storage drivers you pull up the Matrix Storage Console and do something with it as not to allow this to happen. NVIDIA has not updated their drivers as of yet and my clients want to be able to use Quicktime. Does anyone have a fix for this error. When Quicktime is ran, the system stops responding and a hard reset has to be done. On the next bootup the RAID 0 array is gone and an Image Restore has to be done to get the OS back up and running.
